About Us

CCF is a fellowship that meets as an extension of the body of Christ. We are a Christian church in affiliation with Calvary Chapel here in St. Kitts. The group is made up of people visiting or living in St. Kitts & Nevis. CCF began as a small gathering of students wishing to fellowship and learn more about our loving God. We believe that God has strategically positioned CCF on this island to minister and disciple people. This discipleship will hopefully lead to sharing the love of Christ on this island and wherever in the world the members of CCF go throughout their lives. CCF partners with Christian Veterinary Mission (CVM) in order to further equip and send members of CCF on long or short-term missions. CCF also partners with other ministries/organizations at times to further spread the love of Christ locally and worldwide.

THEOLOGY

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

CCF is founded upon the inspired truth found in the Word of God, the freedom the spirit gives, and a loving God that gave Jesus as our personal and only savior.

Mission Statement

We believe that our faith should encourage us to Lead people to Jesus, Disciple people in Jesus, and Send people for Jesus in obedience to His last command.

Statement of Faith

The Bible – We Believe "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God," by which we understand the whole book called THE BIBLE; that it is inerrant in the original writing and that its teaching and authority are

absolute, supreme and final. That the Holy Spirit guided the holy men of old in all that they wrote.

2 Tim. 3:16; Deut. 4:2; 2 Pet. 1:21; John 14:26.

God/Trinity - We Believe The Godhead eternally exists in three persons,—the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three are one God, having the same nature, attributes and perfection.

Rom. 1:20; Matt. 28:19; Deut. 4:35; John 17:5.

Jesus - We believe in Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God as the only mediator between sinful man and a holy God. We believe a person is saved by faith in Jesus Christ, His death, burial and resurrection.

Holy Spirit - We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life

Humanity - We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful humanity, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential, and that repentance from sin and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the only way to come into a relationship with God.

Salvation - We believe salvation is by grace, a free gift of God apart from the works of man. Salvation requires repentance, a turning from one’s own way to God’s way. Salvation comes through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. All who receive Jesus Christ are sealed by the Holy Spirit and become children of God. True salvation will be manifested by a changed life. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Sacraments - We believe it is important to uphold the scriptural practices of the early church. Therefore, we hold to the practice of water baptism and the regular taking of Communion. We do not believe that either of these practices is essential for salvation, but that they serve as a demonstration of our living faith in Christ.

Heaven and Hell - We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

Future Events – We believe In the personal return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, that the coming again of Jesus Christ is the "Blessed Hope" set before us, for which we should be constantly looking. “Our citizenship is in Heaven from whence we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ” (Phil. 3:20). Acts 1:11; 1 Thess. 4:16, 17; John 14:1-3; Titus 2:13; Phil. 3:20, 21.

Worship - We believe worship of God should be a spiritual experience and be both intelligent and fruitful. Therefore, we remain flexible and yielded to the leading of the Holy Spirit to direct our worship, and a prominent place is given to music.
